on solstice i went to the art museum with The God of Freedom. we saw a very very incredible exhibit by sophie calle. you can look at some of it here. it is weird and wonderful. we also some things that are not very good, such as an exhibit by some sort of abstract painter/sketch artist that was really honestly just terrible. but there were good things mixed in, all of which are pictured below.
after the art museum, we went back to the God of Freedom's house and saw his mother who i hadn't seen since i almost gave her elderly aunt covid. but everything was normal between us thankfully -- and we drank some interesting gin drink out of glasses that looked like birds which the God of Freedom's mother got as a hannukah present for the God of Freedom's girlfriend. when you poured lemon juice into the glass the gin drink changed color -- from clear to a beautiful pink. it was so magical. plus the family got me a solstice present -- a book with which you can tell your future with greek poetry fragments! how perfect.
after all this i went dancing with my mom at a very silly and interesting dance club we go to sometimes -- it's sort of vintage themed and creepy old man perverts go there to swing dance but also nice old man perverts, some of whom i danced with. we made friends with a kind old russian man who seemed to never run out of energy -- which is perfect for us!! i was so relieved to see my mother dancing. and i drank a delicious old fashioned.
when we went home my mother and i did some magic involving burning things on pieces of paper and drawing runes on things. it was so nice to pray with my mother. i miss her so much when i'm not at home.
NOTE: currently i am publishing this page far after solstice -- in fact, in the new year, which i spent with Miriam the Most Beloved and her lovely family, walking around the lake and drinking coffee mostly. it was so lovely. now i am back in my apartment with the lovely Gods here and i could not be happier. happy new year, my friends!!
also i listen to a lot of jucifer right now.
